These beauties stole the scene Saturday afternoon in the park. I was the birthday girl, but these cupcakes - as sumptuous to look at as they were to eat - took the cake.
There are absolutely none left. Not a crumb.
Each little cake was a perfectly lovely vision of glorious high butter-fat content, real melt in your mouth goodness. I shudder to think how many calories were loaded into these babies.
Thank heavens, I don't know for sure. That way I can convince myself it was far, far less than it was actually.
If you want some - Carrot Cake, Bananas Foster, Tres Leches, Tiramisu or Chocolate with Peanut Butter Ganache and more - you'll have to order them from Robicelli's Gourmet Market in Bay Ridge.
Ask for Allison because she makes the best cream-filled Carrot Cake Cupcake in the city. Then prepare to do due diligence in the gym later - if you do that kind of thing'
